I haven't posted much, but this not only takes the biscuit, but steals it from a child before stamping it into the ground.
Yes, I know there are many religious factions out there at the minute, and a lot of Fundamentalist Christians. With the recent information about a possible death penalty for homosexuals in Uganda, and the link the bill has with Baptist factions in the US, I shouldn’t be surprised to find a website called ‘www.godhatesfags.com’
I suppose I wasn’t surprised that a group like this exists in America, but more surprised that they have signs saying ‘Death Penalty for Fags’ and ‘God Sent 9/11’. This is a case of ‘Othering’ again; part of a majority creating a negative image of other people, to exemplify their own behaviour. They see themselves on a holy mission, to rid the world of what they call ‘filth’.
Granted, everyone is free to their own religious belief, but suggesting the death penalty for homosexual practice is not only hatemongering, but interfering with State law. I suppose it’s too much to expect the United States of America to seperate religion and state when US currency is printed with ‘In God We Trust’…
